Northen Tasmanian Launch of the 2010 National History Challenge -
“Celebrations, Memories and History”.
Venue: 1842 and the address is 121 Cimitiere St. Launceston, just down from the Library.
Situated in the centre of Launceston, 1842 is in an old warehouse and has a beautiful art gallery on the ground floor and an art space upstairs with a unique tin lined heritage listed room.
The owner Robyn does History walks in Launceston and will give a brief address and then Alison Grant – President of the THTA will discuss the theme and possible ideas before officially launching the 2010 National History Challenge.

The Tasmanian Launch will take place at the Hobart office of the National Archives, 85 Macquarie Street, between 4.15 -5.15 pm on Wednesday the 12th of May. All Welcome!
