The National History Challenge would like to welcome teachers to a wonderful and exciting way of teaching History!

The NHC is a fun and rewarding challenge for students, administered by the Department of Education, Skills and Employment. It can be easily implemented at a local level and used as a means of fulfilling your curriculum requirements.

Student from years 5-12 are invited to participate in the Challenge, and will be rewarded with a Certificate of Participation!

Successful students can progress from school judging, to state judging and ultimately national judging! There are wonderful prizes to be won! National winners are invited to come on a 2 day tour of Canberra, as well as attend the award ceremony in Parliament House, in order to accept the award!
